Flabbergast based weapons were notoriously unstable, and the Projectile Echo Cannon carried by this firing engine was the most delicate of that type. Of course, the unpredictable nature of the gun meant that conventional engines and motors could not be used. Instead, human pedal power coupled to a sophisticated automatic TenBen transmission box (comprising most of the firing engine’s mass) provided a perfectly smooth ride. A layer of pre-emptive dampening and suspension rods ironed out any further vibrations that could cause the Projectile Echo Cannon to backfire.
