Rogue QDNA Hunters

Eccentric by nature, distrustful of all things mechanical, they were a strange combination of bounty hunter and Luddite. Their weapon of choice was the General Automation “Triple Sabot” pistol; shown here with the trademark 3 interlinked barrels. The gun was developed to fire a combination ‘wrapper’ projectile consisting of one electrical, one explosive and one armour piercing shell – capable of disabling any type of artificial life-form by exploiting their three innate weaknesses.

Since all forms of mechanical propulsion were theoretically capable of turning Rogue at any moment, the Hunters’ solutions were genius bordering on madness.

In this case the Hunter has tamed two Giant Ruby-throated Hummingbirds (Amplus Archilochus Colubris). Contrary to popular belief, these birds are capable of sustained flight for long periods, in some cases able to cover over 500 miles non-stop, and therefore a surprisingly sensible option for the long-range hunter, especially when one considers the additional advantage of immediate directional manoeuvrability.

Is it just me, or does that guy remind anyone else of “The Man in the Yellow Hat” from Curious George?

They do appear to be similar (I had to do a quick search), the same jaw line makes them distant relations perhaps.
